Lacuna Sports offers two different styles, so you can choose a fit that suits you and feel great when you’re playing. We have provided some guidance to help you decide what’s best for you.
MATCHWEAR
Our tops are designed for female cricketers, so both styles have raglan sleeves for freedom of movement and a dipped hem. The shape of the tops varies, so please see below and choose your fit. Available in short and long sleeves.
PACE TOP
Our Pace Tops are shaped to the body, although never clingy. They run true to size, so choose a size up if you prefer more room in body and sleeve.
SPIN TOP
Our Spin Tops are a relaxed fit, so don’t expect a snug-fitting top. They run true to size, with a looser fit in the body and sleeve. Sizing up will give you a much looser fit and a bit more fabric in the sleeve. Spin tops provide a more modest fit.
Our trousers have a similar approach to our tops. Both styles come with zip pockets and drawcords.
Our trousers have been designed to accommodate longer legs. The finished leg length is 77cm, however, all pairs have a good hem depth, so if they are too short, we will provide iron-on hem tape in Antigua and help you lengthen them so they are just right for you.
PACE TROUSERS
Our Pace Trousers are narrow and straight, best suited for narrow hips. They run true to size, but if you are between sizes we recommend sizing up so you have room for your thigh pads underneath.
True size 8 and narrow hipped? We’d recommend size 8 Pace.
Between sizes 8-10, narrow hipped? We’d recommend size 10 Pace.
SPIN TROUSERS
Our Spin Trousers are made for curves! They are shaped with a little more room in the hips, bum and thighs and fit true to size. If you are between sizes, we always recommend sizing up.
Usually size 8, with curvy bum/hips? We’d recommend size 8 Spin.
Between sizes 8-10 curvy bum/hips? We’d recommend size 10 Spin.
TRAININGWEAR
TRAINING T-SHIRTS
The short and long sleeve t-shirts are styled the same and have a relaxed fit through the middle. We recommend sizing up if you are looking for extra room; otherwise they run true to size.

These run true to size with a stretchy waistband and an internal pocket.

ACCESSORIES
CAPS
We are offering two styles of caps:
Ponyflo® caps are made just for women with a smaller shape and an opening for ponytails and buns, no matter how high or low. The no-tangle velcro closure means you can adjust the fit throughout the match. High quality, light-weight performance fabric provides breathability and UV protection.
Men’s caps are on offer for those wanting a classic cap. High quality, light-weight performance fabric provides breathability and UV protection.
HIJAB AND HIJAB CAPS
Lacuna Sports is proud to launch our Cricket Hijab at FairBreak 2024! We’ve spent a year designing and testing our undercap with a focus group of female Muslim athletes, and our scarves are sublimated performance fabric. Our black undercap is made of breathable, soft, sustainable fabric that keeps you cool and protects your hair, and our scarves are secured with poppers to prevent slippage during play.
COMPRESSION SHORTS
Our Compression Shorts have a flat waistband that can be comfortably worn under any cricket trousers or training shorts. 4 inch rise gives a flattering length on the leg, and protects against velcro chafing from thigh pads. We will be offering them in black for the FairBreak Tournament in Antigua.
PERIOD PANTS
There isn’t a woman in cricket who hasn’t worried about a leak during her period. No matter what trousers you are wearing, having a pair of knickers that will keep any overflows away from your outer garments just makes good sense. Our period pants can handle up to 40ml so you can focus on your game. Not too skimpy, not too large, these pants are cut for a body in motion, no matter what time of the month. They are made of a soft, breathable bamboo, fit true to size and are available in three different skin tones.
TOURNAMENT T-SHIRTS
For everyone affiliated with the tournament, we are offering a sustainable organic cotton t-shirt in unisex sizing.
TOURNAMENT HOODIE
Our Organic Cotton Casual Hoodie is made for women and is meant for lazy days and feeling cosy after a hard training session. It is true to size for women if you want a relaxed fit. Size down for a smaller fit.
SIZE GUIDE
We offer UK sizes, but have created a conversion chart that can help you find the right size. Our kit runs true to size and for trousers take into consideration that you will be wearing thigh pads underneath. If you are between sizes in trousers, we recommend sizing up to give yourself more room for pads.
